I’ve been here quite a few times, and I’ve always had a great experience. The food is consistently delicious. My favorite is the creamy pasta with braised pork—it’s so flavorful and perfectly seasoned. The drinks are great too. I’m also obsessed with the stir-fried broccolini. It sounds funny, but it’s honestly the first vegetable dish I’ve ever really loved! Another must-try is the duck served with pancakes. It was absolutely delicious. I’ll definitely be back, and I’d highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a really good meal!

Me and my buddy drive from Lake Nona seeking a “good” meal. We got an AMAZING experience!! From the time we walked in until the time we left, we felt welcome. The first person that came to fill our water told us upfront that she was not our server, but that they worked in a team. It was very evident the “team” loved working together in how they interacted. Our server (I regret I forgot his name) was fabulous!! He gave us great recommendations for both drinks and food. Each time he was spot on with his recommendation. As we were leaving, we let the hostess know about our experience and she introduced us to the owner and GM, who were also both welcoming. 5-Stars is not enough!! We will be back with our wives next month, which is just 2 days away 😂

An absolute must-visit in Orlando! The Moderne on Mills Avenue completely blew us away from start to finish. Every single dish was a 10 out of 10 and I don’t say that lightly. We started with the charred broccolini topped with sesame and lemon zest, simple, elegant, and packed with flavor. The Korean style wings glazed and garnished with chili threads were sticky, crispy perfection. The crispy spring rolls drizzled with cream sauce, topped with cherry tomatoes and fresh herbs were creative and absolutely delicious. The star of the night was the spiced braised meat served with flaky flatbread, rich, bold, and deeply satisfying. Every plate looked like a work of art and tasted even better. But what truly elevated the experience was our server Priscilla. She was an outstanding menu guide, knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and genuinely passionate about the food. Her recommendations were spot on and made the whole meal feel curated and special. The atmosphere, the plating, the flavors, everything is firing on all cylinders at this place. If you haven’t been to The Moderne yet, stop what you’re doing and make a reservation. We’ll absolutely be back.

A good friend introduced me to The Moderne on 50 in the Mills 50 area, and I had such a great first experience that I decided to return solo on a Thursday to see if the vibe and food were just a one-time thing. Happy to report: they were not. The service was great, the food was delicious, and the overall experience was absolutely worth running back. The small plates are not as small as you might expect. Depending on what you order and how hungry you are, they can be very filling. I left with a hefty to-go box. I ordered the fried rice, and as someone from NYC, I am very picky about fried rice. This one easily stands on its own as a full meal. I also had the crab and shrimp gyoza, which were packed with flavor and easily one of my top recommendations. The Korean crispy chicken was another standout. It had the perfect balance of flavor, crunch, and texture. The space itself was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Anyone who reads my reviews knows that spacing and bathroom cleanliness matter to me, and The Modern on 50 passed both tests. The dining room, bar area, and bathroom were all clean and inviting. If you get the lovely chance to come here make a reservation!! They get busy quick and have lots of bar seating but you really don’t want to miss out without a reservation. The food, service, and atmosphere are the best I’ve had in a longgg time. VERY impressed. Our server Ian took us through the menu perfectly as it was our first time. He is SO friendly and attentive - with his own personal touch making you feel right at home. I guarantee you there isn’t a single thing on the menu that’s bad. Here were some of our favorites - kimchi garlic edamame, pork belly baos, salmon sushi, ribs, and mushroom bibimbap. Don’t skimp out on not trying a cocktail! They are very creative and delicious. I can’t wait to come back in town to try everything else on the menu. Thanks for the great service Ian!!!
